Controller
The controller within the meaning of Art. 5 lit. j revFADP and Art. 4 no. 7 GDPR for the processing of personal data on this website is jointly the partners of the simple partnership Levatech (Art. 530 ff. CO):
Levatech
c/o [address to follow]
8000 Zurich
Switzerland
Email: nitheesh@levatech.ch

As a simple partnership, Levatech is not required to appoint a data protection advisor (Art. 10 revFADP is not mandatory). All data protection requests should be sent to the contact address above.
Personal data processed
We only process personal data where this is necessary to operate the website, respond to enquiries or comply with legal obligations. This includes in particular:
- contact data (name, email address, phone number, company name) that you provide via the contact form or by email;
- the content of your message;
- technical connection data (in particular IP address, timestamp, user agent, requested resource) that our hosting provider processes server-side when the website is accessed.
The legal basis is our overriding legitimate interest in the secure and functional operation of the website and in responding to your enquiry (Art. 31 para. 1 revFADP; Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and f GDPR).
Contact form
When you use the contact form, you transmit to us the data you enter (name, email address, optionally phone number and company, and the message content). These data are used solely to process your enquiry and are not shared for advertising purposes.
Transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.
Email delivery via Resend (USA)
For technical delivery of messages submitted through the contact form we use the service Resend, operated by Resend, Inc., with its registered office in the United States of America.
The data entered in the form, together with delivery metadata (sender, recipient, timestamp, IP address), are transmitted to Resend and processed on its infrastructure.
The disclosure abroad is based on Switzerland's recognition of adequacy under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, where that does not apply, on standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 16 para. 2 lit. d revFADP.
Hosting via Vercel (USA)
The website is hosted as a statically generated project with Vercel Inc., with its registered office in the United States of America. When the website is accessed, Vercel processes technical connection data (in particular IP address, timestamp, device and browser information, and requested URL) to ensure delivery, security and stability of the service.
The disclosure abroad is based on Switzerland's recognition of adequacy under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, where that does not apply, on standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 16 para. 2 lit. d revFADP.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use any analytics, marketing or tracking cookies. No web analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics), remarketing tools or social media pixels are loaded.
Technically necessary storage operations (e.g. for basic security or language preferences) may occur; under Swiss law, these do not require prior consent.
Cross-border disclosure
Through the use of the service providers named above (Resend, Vercel), personal data are disclosed to the United States. Such disclosure is based on:
- Art. 16 para. 1 revFADP, where the recipient is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and an adequate level of protection therefore exists;
- otherwise, on standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 16 para. 2 lit. d revFADP and Art. 46 GDPR.
No further disclosure to third parties takes place unless we are legally required to do so.
Your rights
You have in particular the following rights vis-à-vis the controller:
- right of access to the processing of your personal data (Art. 25 revFADP; Art. 15 GDPR);
- right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 32 para. 1 revFADP; Art. 16 GDPR);
- right to erasure or restriction of processing (Art. 32 para. 2 revFADP; Art. 17, 18 GDPR);
- right to object to certain types of processing (Art. 30 revFADP; Art. 21 GDPR);
- right to data portability (Art. 28 revFADP; Art. 20 GDPR);
- right to withdraw consent with effect for the future.
An informal message to nitheesh@levatech.ch is sufficient to exercise your rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority; in Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Retention period
We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective processing purpose or as required by mandatory statutory retention obligations.
Contact enquiries are generally deleted once the enquiry has been conclusively answered and there is no indication of further contact, at the latest after 24 months.
Server logs of our hosting provider are automatically deleted or anonymised after the short retention periods of the respective service provider.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may amend this privacy policy to adapt it to changes in the legal framework or in our services. The current version is always available at this URL.
